Effective Teachers

There are three major factors that determine if a trainee teacher will become an effective teacher:

1. The quality of the teacher education course.

2. The trainee teacher's general ability and subject knowledge.

3. The quality of the graduate teacher's first year of teaching (a good school and mentoring).
